Hi Everyone! I am originally from Greenwood, South Carolina and my life has always revolved around horses; I started riding when I was about five years old. I stared taking English riding lessons with local trainers when I was seven and progressed to showing in equitation and hunter Classes at local "B" and "C" rated shows around South Carolina.

When I turned 12, I started taking professional lessons with Gerald and Betsy Pack of Columbus, North Carolina. My riding progressed to an advanced level with their expertise and training techniques. I started fox hunting and showing successfully in equitation and hunter classes at "A" rated shows with the Packs while I was in High School and during the summers throughout and after college.

I attended Sweet Briar College in Virginia from 2000 to 2004 and earned a spot on several of their highly competitive teams (IHSA, Fall Field, Hunter Show, and ANRC Teams) over my four years there, where I continued competing at "A" rated shows all along the east coast from Florida to Virginia. Following graduation from Sweet Briar, I once again showed all summer with Gerald and Betsy at the "A" rated shows but this time switched gears and competed in the jumper divisions and loved every minute of it!

After working in the advertising industry for two and a half years, I have now made it back to the horse business which is where my heart is! I decided to donate my horse, Intrigue, who I have owned since 2001 and have done the majority of my showing with, to Eden Farms in January 2007 where he is now known as King David and six months later came back to instruct at the farm.

Riding and competing in hunters and jumpers is my passion, talent, and expertise, being able to pass on my knowledge of horsemanship and riding technique as an instructor and trainer at Eden Farms is a blessing I truly enjoy! My instruction is based around teaching each individual good horsemanship and essential riding techniques to enjoy safe, confident, and successful riding of all levels.
