Anne Mason- Anne initially began riding at Eden Farms in 2003 through our summer camp. She joined our lesson program in July of 2004. As she advanced in riding, she began leasing an Eden Farms Welsh pony, Rachael Rose, who she eventually bought. Anne has been showing in the Harmon Hopefuls, BRHJA, and PSJ shows over the last several years. She has also competed in schooling dressage shows and Horse Trials. Last year Anne was named the 2009 Up and Coming Rider of the Year by the BRHJA. Anne has donated her pony back to Happy Hooves and has begun leasing a Thoroughbred, Count Rutledge, from Irene Backer. Anne plans to compete with him in Medal and Equitation Classes. Currently, Anne is taking lessons from Caroline Fritch. In 2009 Anne won:

• BRHJA Up and Coming Rider Award

• Hopeful Jumper Reserve Champion – BRHJA and PSJ

• Progressive Jumper Reserve Champion – BRHJA

• Progressive Jumper 6th Place – PSJ

• 11 & Under Equitation 4th Place – BRHJA

• Short Stirrup Equitation 5th Place – BRHJA

• Hopeful Hunter Champion – Harmon Hopefuls

• Harmon Hopeful Medal Finals Winner

• Harmon Medal Class 5th Place – Harmon Hopefuls

• 17 & Under Equitation 6th Place – Harmon Hopefuls

• Jr. Amateur Equitation 4th Place – Harmon Hopefuls

• Hopeful Jumpers 4th Place – Harmon Hopefuls

Sydney Morris- Sydney began riding in 2007 after attending summer camps at other farms. After spending almost 2 years training and participating in Eden Farms Schooling Shows, Sydney began showing in the Harmon Hopefuls and BRHJA. With the help of various horses Sydney won honors from BRHJA including Walk/Trot/Canter Champions. Sydney’s family recently bought Graffe (shown as Spur of the Moment) who she intends to show in BRHJA and PSJ shows. In 2009 Sydney won:

• Walk Trot Canter Champion – BRHJA

• Walk Trot Canter 3rd Place – PSJ

• Walk Trot Canter Crossrails 4th Place – BRHJA

Katie McSloy- Katie started at Eden Farms in our Summer Camp program in 2005 and continued in the lesson program. After leasing an Eden Farms school horse, Genesis, her family decided to buy him, helping Katie get more riding time. The two competed in off site shows in 2009, earning Katie Reserve Champion for BRHJA’s 2009 Walk Trot Canter division. In mid 2009 Katie purchased Summer, a new quarter horse for her to show. She is currently taking lessons with Caroline Tawney. In 2009 Katie won:

• Walk Trot Canter Reserve Champion – BRHJA

• Walk Trot Canter Crossrails 5th Place – BRHJA

Kimi Fuhrman has been riding for years and has several horses of her own. Kimi began riding at Eden Farms when she began showing Cooper (shown as Count Rutledge). She quickly began showing him in the BRHJA as well as PSJ shows. In 2009 Kimi won the Blue Ridge Medal Finals as well as Champion in Children’s Hunter. In 2009 Kimi won:

• Children’s Hunter Champion – BRHJA, PSJ, and SCHJA

• BRHJA Junior Medal Class Champion

• BRHJA Junior Medal Finals Winner

• 15-17 Equitation 6th Place – BRHJA
