TRAIL RIDES

Adults

Never been riding before? No problem! Our one-hour guided trail rides are lots of fun for beginners as well as advanced riders.   When you arrive, horses are saddled and ready to go.  After a brief safety talk and riding demonstration, a trained Eden Farms guide helps you mount your horse and makes sure your horse feels comfortable steering, stopping, and starting your horse before heading out on the trail.  You will pass by beautiful views of Ceasar’s Head and Table rock as you walk along horse pastures and old logging trails.  This outdoor experience is not to be missed!  Rides go out Monday to Saturday  by appointment only and we welcome beginner to advanced riders.   We use safe and well trained horses for all riding abilities.

All riders must be 13 years old and weigh less than 250 pounds.
One Hour Trail Rides are $45 per Rider

Mini-Trail Rides

For younger  riders we offer mini trail rides.  This is an hour long hands on horse experience with an experienced Eden Farms staff member by your side! Start by helping get your horse from the stall and learning how to brush and saddle up your horse.  Then head out to the riding arena to either be led around or learn to steer.  Next, with a guide by your side, we trek along a gentle trail by the barn and into the fields.  Finish off your mini-trail ride by untacking, grooming the horse, and even feeding your horse a special treat.  Parents are welcome to walk alongside or  follow the child on a horse of their very own!

We work to make this entire experience age appropriate and lots of fun!

Arena rides
All ages

Children can learn the basics of riding with the help of an experienced staff member in the arena area. They can take turns learning to stop, start, and turn their horse. This is a real confidence builder! Children like this part best. We recommend one horse for every 1 - 2  children. Cost is $45 per horse per hour
